Recording the sounds of rain and thunder using an h2 while standing on my balcony.

A heavy summer shower recorded from my window with a zoom h2. There are some background noise (child's voice, but i think no car, can't swear to it though) and two claps of far away thunder. The rain becomes lighter in the last 1'30. Free for any use. I'd be happy to know if you used it :-).

Recording of a thunderstorm rumbling overhead. The thunder echoes through the hills and is more or less continuous. A large clap of thunder does cause momentary clipping. After the heavy rain, bird calls can be heard.

A clock strikes 11pm in the rain. Traffic noises are also heard.

A strong rainshower hitting an awning, with the gentle "shhhhhh. . . . " of the rain falling on the new, fresh green, pliable leaves of a sugar maple. Some good thunder as well in this recording. Recording made in april of 2017 at 6:00pm in the midwest. Gear used: sound devices 702 with audio technica bp4025 stereo microphone. Enjoy.

It is a relaxing and constant sound of the raining, we can listen the water hit on the ground.
